The Development Corporation understands that finances are a critical part of any business decision to locate within a community. For this reason, the Corporation prides itself on comprehensive assistance with the tools available for new and expanding businesses in the area. The Development Corporation will assist companies along every step in the process, from introducing them to the appropriate financial institutions, working with U.S. Small Business Administration loans, and providing access to New York State's financial incentive programs and other financial resources. The Development Corporation is the administrator of the County of Clinton Industrial Development Agency and the Town of Champlain Industrial Development Agency. TDC also administers the Clinton County Empire Zone. With ready access to this full complement of resources, the Corporation is able to ensure a company maximizes assistance and opportunities.
